Quick update

Hi all,

Now there is a new look for your favorite Trainer! I wanted to touch base with our community about the class schedule and Burpees & Beer. I am on a rotating days off schedule and will be training on those days. You will be able to see the pattern on the schedule. One week classes will be on Mon, Tues and Friday. The next week will be Wednesday and Thursday. All personal training will have to be scheduled on these days as well. I will not repeat the workouts, so it is okay to train two days in a row. I am trying out some different times. Let me know if you have a group that would like a specific time. I can schedule outside of what you see on the schedule.

I am in training until the end of January. I may be able to add a few Saturday AM class times once I go to my more permanent post. Burpees & Beer is on hold until after the holidays.

UPDATES:

  • The group rate is now $75 per session. Obviously, divided by participants.

  • CANCELLATION POLICY- You can change or cancel your reservation up to 4 hours before the scheduled class with no charge. If you cancel within 4 hours or less notice, you will still be charged for your session and expected to pay. Emergency circumstances may be taken into consideration.

Holiday Tip- Do your best to stay consistent with your fitness. Food is challenging at this time of year. It is okay to enjoy your favorite foods in MODERATION. I understand that this is relative to each individual. You may be tempted to have an extra cookie or 6 or maybe finish off that 2nd bottle of wine? After all, it is only once a year….right? Naw, not really….we use this rationalization for every celebration throughout the year. Humans have a tendency to rationalize all of our indulgence. We rationalize when our lives are stressful and in the dumper as well. I should know, it happened to the Trainer the past 6 months with all the stress in my life. The holidays are very stressful for some folks. Be aware and be honest with yourself. Take measures for self care and healthy choices.

Remember, It feels better, if you have gotten some exercise before you sit down to that holiday meal. Even if your workouts are shorter, 30 minutes of moderate exercise will help maintain your current fitness level. You will not make gains, but you will maintain muscle mass, memory and cardio capacity. Also, it is a good time to work on flexibility and foam rolling to keep prepare you for more intense activity after the season.

I think that is all for now. I will post some videos next time. Happy holidays everyone!
